My first dip in the river.

I liked putting my legs in, but the water was too cold on my chest.

Brrr!

I'm 4 months old now! Activities I've mastered:

*Smiling
*Reaching out and grabbing toys
*Chomping on things, especially my fingers
*Gurgling, shrieking and squealing
*Holding onto my feet
*Staring intently at books and people
*Only napping for a 1/2 hour at a time

Weight: 14 lbs, 3 oz (I've doubled my birth weight!)
Length: 26 & 3/4"

I went to Springfield, IL to meet my Great-Grandparents and my Uncle Zach and Aunt Kathy.
I learned a lot about President Lincoln- we went to the Lincoln musuem, the house he lived in and the tomb where he's buried. I also got to swim in a (cold!) pool.

Hangin' with Uncle Zach...who said he'd buy me my first tattoo when I'm old enough.

I'm a world traveler! On my vacation to Chicago:

*I enjoyed the paintings at the Art Institute (my favorites were by Georgia O'Keeffe and Claude Monet).

*I went to a parade and watched a fireworks show on the 4th of July.

*I beat Great-Grandma at a couple of card games.

*I listened to Grandma's flute concert in a huge, beautiful church.

*I drooled a lot.
